Louisiana Rugby & D1 Training invites boys and girls in ages 6-16 from the Ascension area and surrounding parishes to come and play the most engaging sport where youth play both offense and defense.

If you are new to the game, no worries! There will be a Rookie Rugby 101 Session to introduce you to the fastest growing game in the US!  Parents are invited to attend a special session to learn the rules of the game and how one can get in the game! Parents are encouraged to go and participate because we learn through play!

This free one day event, Saturday, May 20 is at the sports training facility: D1 Training of Ascension

12:00 pm Kick-off

Skills and Drills of ballhandling (carrying, passing), kicking and (noncontact) rugby play

2:00 pm Wrap-up 

No experience needed - come give rugby a try.  All of this program is non-contact rugby. 

This event free, but Pre-Registration is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to ensure youth have a great experience. Walk-ins Welcome, but due to limited coaches, youth may not be accommodated.
