Baton Rouge Area Youth Rugby enthusiastically invites boys and girls, ages 6-18 from Baton Rouge and neighboring parishes to our engaging 6th annual Winter Youth Rugby Fest. Trust us, this is an event you absolutely must not miss!

What Awaits You:

• Engaging flag rugby sessions for ages 6-14, where the action is swift, the play is fluid, and teamwork shines from the fundamentals to advanced play
• Thrilling skill development from tackle to juking rugby sessions, open to ages 11-18, designed make you more of an efficient and effective player on and off the field

New to Rugby? No Problem! For those new to the game, join our Rookie Rugby 101 Session. Dive into the excitement of the fastest-growing sport in the US! And here's a treat for parents too - a special session designed to introduce you to the game's rules and how you can get involved. The hour-long session during the clinic is followed by an interactive Q&A. Parents, don't miss out – join us in learning through play!

When and Where

Saturday, December 9, at the BREC Highland Road Rugby Pitch.

• 8:30 AM: Check-in/Onsite registration
• 9:00 AM: Kickoff
• 11:30 AM: Wrap-up with a Feast with Domino's Pizza!
• Baton Rouge Men's Rugby Club Match vs Harrahan Coyotes to follow!!

No Experience Necessary – Just Come and Experience the Thrill of Rugby! All activities are non-contact rugby, and everyone is welcome to join in, regardless of experience level.

Party Attire:

* Tennis shoes (non-metal toed soccer cleats are recommended, but not necessary)

* Comfortable athletic shorts

* Waterbottle

* A great attitude to PARRRRTY!

Stick around after the clinic to cheer on the Baton Rouge Men's Rugby Club as they face off against Harrahan Coyotes to advance in the Louisiana Markel Rugby Cup, a true tradition in the world of rugby since 1979.

Giving Back to the Community

While the event is entirely free, we're on a mission in collaboration with AHG LA1943 to collect new socks and healthy nonperishable snacks for the youth in foster care (DCFS) in Baton Rouge and the Metro area. Let's make a positive impact together!
