2021 Baton Rouge Area Youth Rugby Play

Thanks to those who helped return rugby to the Baton Rouge area. Let's keep the ball rolling through 2021. These 5-week Sunday sessions, youth will continue to develop their skills to be not only leaders on the field, but off the field. The two hour sessions are broken into two components: 1st hour is learning the skills through drills and the 2nd hour will be implemention through play based on the USA Rookie Rugby Model with more fun involved!  There will be opportunities to travel to New Orleans to play in the League Day Tournaments against surrounding teams.

Drop by the Highland Road Rugby Pitch from 1p-3p.

No experience needed - come give rugby a try.  All of the below is non-contact rugby.  

USA Rugby Annual Membership

All particpants are required to register once per year (resets Sept 1) with USA Rugby.  For this program, the cost is only $20.  If you haven't registered yet, please go to https://www.louisianarugby.org/usarugby-registration and complete your once per year registration.  This registration alows us to have insurance, coach education and coach background checks among other key benefits.

Rookie Rugby

(Elementary/ Middle School, ages:  6-13, 1:00pm-3:00pm)

Single session: $10

5 weeks: $45

Mommy and Me

(Mom & walking- 5 yrs old,*1:00pm-2:00pm)

Single session:  $15

5 weeks: $60

All who register for all 5 weeks will receive a tshirt.
