About the Event
This winter season has gone by fast, but it's not over yet. We're just warming up, so in preparation for the Mardi Gras Rugby Tournament, February 11th, this Saturday-Â
January 28th, youth ages 6-14 are invted to the Inaugural Redstick Rugby Roundup Tournament at the BREC Womack Fields (located behind the main BREC Offices, 6201 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70806).
WHAT TO EXPECT
8:45amÂ
9:00am  Kick-off
11:00 am Flag Tournament begins
12:00 pm Wrap-up/lunch
The morning will consist of rugby developmental skills by LSU MEN'S AND WOMEN'S RUGBY CLUB. The last hour and half will be set up with real flag play, which means there will be teams to compete in the 14 minute matches (two 7 minute halves and halftime).
If you are interested in rugby, but don't know how- this is the time to give rugby a try!! No obligations- just come with a good attitude and be prepared to have fun!
