Baton Rouge Area Youth Rugby enthusiastically invites boys and girls, ages 6-18 from Baton Rouge and neighboring parishes to come and "try" what the hype is all about, especially after the US Women's Rugby took the Bronze at the Olympics.

Here’s What’s in Store:

Fast-Paced Flag Rugby (Ages 6-14): Experience the excitement of flag rugby, where quick play, fluid movement, and teamwork take center stage. Whether you're just starting or looking to refine your skills, these sessions cover everything from the basics to advanced techniques!

Skill-Building for Tackle Rugby (Ages 11-18): Ready to level up? Join our tackle rugby sessions focused on improving your juking, tackling, and overall efficiency both on and off the field. This is your chance to become a more confident and effective player.

New to Rugby? No Problem. Jump into our Rookie Rugby 101 session, perfect for those just starting out. Learn the ins and outs of the fastest-growing sport in the US! And for parents, we’ve got you covered too—join our special session where we’ll introduce you to the rules, how the game works, and how you can get involved. Stick around for an interactive Q&A after the clinic. Don’t miss out—learn rugby while having fun!"

Saturday, October 19, at the BREC Highland Road Rugby Pitch, 13829 N. Amiss Road, Baton Rouge, LA

8:30 AM: Check-in/Onsite registration

9:00 AM: Kickoff

11:30 AM: Wrap-up with our favorite Domino's Pizza!

No Experience Necessary – Just Come and Experience the Thrill of Rugby! All activities are non-contact rugby, and everyone is welcome to join in, regardless of experience level.

Stick around after the clinic to cheer on the Baton Rouge Men's Rugby Club as they face off against Harrahan Coyotes to advance in the Louisiana Markel Rugby Cup, a true tradition in the world of rugby since 1979.

What to Wear

* Tennis shoes (non-metal toed soccer cleats are recommended, but not necessary)
