Jefferson Playground, Jefferson Gold Youth Rugby Sessions: Nov 18 - Dec 16
A brand new rugby program at Jefferson Playground! It starts up Nov. 18 and runs to Dec 16. Registration is up now on the Jefferson Parish Recreation Department website. This program is open to all regardless of resident address.

About the Event
2020 YOUTH RUGBY

Spring Youth Rugby is available to all children between the ages
of 6-13.

Jefferson Playground

Wednesdays Nov 18 - Dec 16 (Plus rain outs), 6-7pm (no session Nov 25th for Thanksgiving)
- Why
Rugby is a fun, fluid, fast-paced game that focuses on building strength, stamina, and most importantly, teamwork on and off the field. The people that you play rugby with (and even against!) will become lifelong friends that extend well beyond the final whistle. Rugby also offers players increased confidence and self-respect, as the ultimate character-building sport. It fosters courage, fitness, team effort and togetherness, bringing together boys and girls from all backgrounds.

USA Rugby Annual Membership
All particpants are required to register once per year (resets sept 1) with USA Rugby. For this program the cost is only $20. If you haven't registered yet please go to https://www.louisianarugby.org/usarugby-registration and complete your once per year registration. This registration alows us to have insurance, coach education and coach background checks among other key benefits.
