We're excited to announce we are rolling out "league play" days. These league play days will allow the kids from our Gretna, City Park, Baton Rouge youth, etc programs to play each other in a proper flag rugby match in a structured environment. This will allow the kids to get used to playing rugby with coaches, referees, set game clocks, and the general excitement of a game day atmosphere.

This competitive play will allow players to put all the skills they've learnt so far to use in a game!  But, if you haven't made it out yet, don't worry, everyone can participate in league days.

We will divide the teams based on age. We are aiming to have 3-4 teams of 5-8 year olds and 2-3 teams of 9-12 year olds. Once this is done we will create a schedule for the day and circulate that. Each team will be assigned a professional Nola Gold player as coach who will be with them throughout the day.

Louisiana Rugby Registration

USA Rugby Annual Membership (Required for League Play)

All particpants are required to register once per year (resets sept 1) with USA Rugby.  For this program the cost is only $20.  If you haven't registered yet please go to https://www.louisianarugby.org/usarugby-registration and complete your once per year registration.  This registration alows us to have insurance, coach education and coach background checks among other key benefits.
