The Baton Rouge Area Youth Rugby cordially invites all ladies and gents, ages 6-14 to the fifth annual winter rugby clinic coached in partnership with NOLA Gold Rugby, Baton Rouge Rugby Club, Lagniappe Women’s Rugby, New Orleans Half-Moons and LSU Rugby. Certified USA Rugby players will be introducing rugby 101 and youth will have the opportunity to play in a flag rugby match. Yoga with Brandi is returning to open this celebration with Gold’s Gym Personal Trainer Jasmine will be providing her expertise from the weekly invigorating Silver Sneakers to achieving personal goals to be successful in our health goals. After the exciting “Ball,” Domino’s Pizza will provide hot and fresh pizza, grab a slice and stay to cheer on our high school players, Aiden and Malek in the Baton Rouge Men’s match against Gretna Krewe to advance in the Louisiana Markel Rugby Cup Championship!
Pre-registration is highly recommended, but onsite registrations are welcome.
*This event is free, but we are seeking 100 donations of new socks and snacks (healthy non perishable) to donate to the Department of Family and Children Services for youth in foster care in the Baton Rouge and Metro area.
