Louisiana Rugby and NOLA Gold have brought on professional NOLA Gold rugby player Nick Feakes to lead the state’s youth rugby program. Nick will be in charge of starting up new youth rugby sites, creating programming, and developing coaches in the state.
Nick Feakes graduated from Lindenwood University in 2018 and has been with the Gold for the past two years. He is a USA Rugby certified coach and has worked previously as the backs coach for Lindenwood University.
“I am really excited about this new role. I look forward to expanding the youth rugby programs in the state of Louisiana. We need more young people playing rugby to grow this wonderful game and give kids the opportunity to play a fantastic sport like rugby,” Feakes said.
