The Baton Rouge Area Youth Rugby invites boys and girls in ages 6-13 from the Baton Rouge area and surrounding parishes to attend the 5th annual free Winter Youth Rugby Clinic. Participants will develop age appropriate individual, positional and enhanced rugby skills for the 2nd Louisiana Rugby Winter/Spring Season 2023.  

If you are new to the game, no worries! There will be a Rookie Rugby 101 Session to introduce you to the fastest growing game in the US!  Parents are invited to attend a special session to learn the rules of the game and how one can get in the game! The session will be an hour during the clinic followed by Q&A. Then parents are encouraged to go and participate because we learn through play!

This free one day event, Saturday, Dec 10 will take place at the BREC Highland Road Rugby Pitch.

Stay afterwards to cheer the Baton Rouge Men's Rugby Club play against Gretna to advance in the Louisiana Markel Rugby Cup, a true rugby tradition since 1979.

*This event is free, but we are seeking new socks and snacks (healthy nonperishable) to donate to youth in foster care in the Baton Rouge and Metro area.

No experience needed - come give rugby a try.  All of this program is non-contact rugby.
