NORFC

New Orleans Rugby Football Club (NORFC) is a senior men's club currently competing in the D2 True South Division.

We hold practices and matches at our rugby facility in Gretna (corner of Gretna Blvd. and Huey P. Long Ave.).  Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm-8:30 pm.  Everyone is welcome to join the team and no experience is necessary.

Since 1973, our club has a strong tradition of winning and having fun doing it.  We also own our own clubhouse and have regular social events.

Crescent City Blues RFC

Crescent City Blues RFC was established in 2014 with mission to bring rugby to all skill levels and ages in the Greater New Orleans area. The majority of our club members are college-educated men between 21 and 50 years of age.

We focus on providing a competitive yet social environment for those who are nearing the end of their rugby career, those that are completely new to rugby, and everyone in between. The club is a strong believer in providing a welcoming environment for all through constructive coaching for all skill levels, community investment with youth rugby coaching, and social events.

We also coach youth teams, the Crescent City Minis!

Crescent City Rougaroux

Founded in 2017, Crescent City Rougaroux is a primarily gay and inclusive rugby club in New Orleans, affiliated with International Gay Rugby.

We promote fraternity, diversity, growth, and service through the sport rugby.  We seek to create a safe and competitive space that fosters team and community building, a space where people of diverse backgrounds can come together to learn and play rugby. This space will cultivate growth, through mentorship and camaraderie, for people who are often isolated and underrepresented. Finally, we will give back to our communities through community service, sponsorships, and fundraisers.

Krewe RFC

The Krewe Rugby Football Club was established in 2016 and is dedicated to the development and promotion of rugby players in the Greater New Orleans area for local and national competition.

Our team name "Krewe" comes from the old French word "Creue", which had the original meaning of "a Band of Soldiers serving as reinforcements." Hence, our name identifies our position as the development squad of New Orleans RFC.

Pontchartrain Po-Boys

Poboys

The Pontchartrain Po-Boys are the current champions of the annual Markel Cup rugby tournament. The team won the 2017 competition in our first year as a club.

The Po-Boys are a great way to learn the game of rugby and play with a variety of skill levels. For some, the Markel Cup/The Po-Boys are a perfect mix of social and competitive rugby...not quite as demanding as the Spring New Orleans Rugby Club schedule. Most games are in New Orleans and there’s not much travel involved. Many Po-Boys also play with the Division 2 of New Orleans RFC.

Baton Rouge RFC

BR

Baton Rouge Rugby has been around since 1977; home to several championships, semifinalists and USA Rugby players. We support mens and youth rugby in the greater Baton Rouge/Acadiana/Hammond area, welcoming players from as far as Lake Charles, Lafayette and Hammond. We also provide coaching and team support to local college rugby teams, namely LSU, ULL and SLU.  In addition, we host the oldest Sevens Tournament in Louisiana, the annual "Red Fish Sevens" tournament routinely welcomes 20+ teams each year.

Playing in the True South D2 conference, Baton Rouge plays competitive schedules and all skill levels are welcome to join us.  Practices are Tues/Thurs, 6:30-8 PM at Highland Rd. Park in Baton Rouge.
