Rugby was in full swing this past Saturday in Raceland, LA. The Bayou Hurricanes hosted players from 2 local middle school clubs, Northshore Lions and New Orleans, as well as the Brother Martin high school team.

With their older siblings and piers watching, players were ready to showcase their skills on a beautiful day for rugby. Players engaged in Rugby Sevens and play featured some wonderful runs, offloads, kicks, and tackles.

The Bayou Hurricanes swept the day against a combined side of the Lions and New Orleans. While down in points most of the day, all players from the combined side kept their heads up and fought hard.
